How One Little Detail Adds Big Fun to My Halloween Shows
When it comes to creating a memorable magic show, it’s all about the little details. One of my favorite techniques is the callback—bringing back a funny or unexpected element throughout the show to keep the audience engaged. For my Halloween shows this year, I’ve added a playful twist: a pair of witch’s socks keeps popping up in the most random places!
At the start of the show, the socks make their first appearance during a disappearing act, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Whether I’m pulling out a wand, opening a spooky chest, or even making a cauldron bubble, those socks just won’t go away! They sneak into tricks, hide behind props, and even end up in the hands of an unsuspecting audience member. Kids love the surprise and laughter that comes with each appearance, and it gives the whole performance a playful, mischievous vibe.
